Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing is a crucial step when developing complex embedded control systems, to simulate real time dynamic conditions and improve verification coverage in a safe way.
We have more than 15 years in-house experience from building our own HIL simulators using equipment and tools from well-known, world leading suppliers including dSPACE, Vector, MathWorks and ETAS. Additionally, we’re also quite savvy when it comes to building large integration rigs for body electronics testing.
HIL projects
For all HIL projects, T-engineering maintains a set of internally developed and validated models for complex physical vehicle domains including internal combustion engines, EV and hybrid (HEV/PHEV) vehicles. With our broad skillset, we can create, customise and calibrate plant models, providing the most fitting solution for testing based on customer requirements.
We have developed HIL systems for the following controllers (among others):
Engine control systems with full on-board diagnostics
Hybrid transmission controllers
Electric vehicle controllers
Body modules
Door modules
Hood modules
Trunk modules
Central gateway modules
